The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tyrell Chu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Reuben Cartwright managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kingdom come's supporters rose to their feet, but Reuben Cartwright was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dana Vazquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Wekweti's zone, Casey Locke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dana Vazquez came out of the goal and Casey Locke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tyrell Chu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Allan Dickens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casey Locke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dana Vazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reuben Cartwright in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Casey Locke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dana Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casey Locke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dana Vazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Tyrell Chu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wekweti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyrell Chu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tyrell Chu struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Allan Dickens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wekweti. Dana Vazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reuben Cartwright in the 43rd minute of play. Tyrell Chu's late challenge caught a Kingdom come's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tyrell Chu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wekweti's Tyrell Chu got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

60 minutes into the match, Kingdom come's Casey Locke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dana Vazquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Reuben Cartwright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Ellison kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Reuben Cartwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casey Locke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Dana Vazquez made a huge save. Josiah Authier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Dickens having to interfere. Allan Dickens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spencer Diamond in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Josiah Authier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wekweti's Dana Vazquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Wekweti from getting a goal against them. Spencer Diamond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Dickens having to interfere. In the 87th minute Tyrell Chu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Dickens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josiah Authier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kingdom come's Casey Locke got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casey Locke got free with Dana Vazquez in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
