When Pierre Chamberlain fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Picton AFC's protests and gave Pierre Chamberlain a yellow card for diving instead. Lazare Spears struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jerrod Overton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester FC. Del Fluet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Léveillé, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Benny Moser fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester FC's protests and gave Benny Moser a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Manchester FC's Benny Moser got a free kick in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the game, Leonel Léveillé cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Del Fluet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Sydney Masters with Darell Lord as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 30th minute, Darell Lord made a precise shot to the right of Del Fluet. Manchester FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Leonel Léveillé made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Benny Moser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerrod Overton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lazare Spears came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Manchester FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lazare Spears couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes in the game Antoine Scott did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Leonel Léveillé. Manchester FC's Benny Moser got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benny Moser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrod Overton having to interfere. When Milan McCall came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Manchester FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milan McCall couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Benny Moser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benny Moser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerrod Overton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Benny Moser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benny Moser blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerrod Overton having to make a save. Manchester FC's Benny Moser got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerrod Overton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny Moser, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Benny Moser took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerrod Overton. Jerrod Overton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 80th minute, Benny Moser ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerrod Overton was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 85th minute, Del Horner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Picton AFC's zone, Milan McCall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerrod Overton came out of the goal and Milan McCall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benny Moser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jerrod Overton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manchester FC were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Picton AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Milan McCall took the corner. The corner ended in Milan McCall almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Picton AFC's Jerrod Overton did a great save. After 94 minutes, Felton Fitzpatrick mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Picton AFC and the Manchester FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felton Fitzpatrick hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Chamberlain in the 97th minute of play forced Manchester FC's goalkeeper Del Fluet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manchester FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
