An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Coyle in the 68th minute of play forced Rakow Czestochowa's goalkeeper Josef MacDonald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rakow Czestochowa. In the 81st minute, one of Rakow Czestochowa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rakow Czestochowa. Jessie Deschamps shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Olen Atwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef MacDonald having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Lyndon Hamilton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rakow Czestochowa's Josef MacDonald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Edgardo Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Rakow Czestochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Coyle came free, but Josef MacDonald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
