Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brain Romano got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, The Friction's goalkeeper Julio Garland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franklyn Courcelle. Franklyn Courcelle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Julio Garland when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Brain Romano took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Garland to make any attempt to save it. Julio Garland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franklyn Courcelle in the 37th minute. 39 minutes in the game, Brain Romano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Julio Garland having to interfere. Léopold Crain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Boyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daren Hawthorne to make the kick off. Léandre McDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Léopold Crain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daren Hawthorne in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, The Friction's Daren Hawthorne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léopold Crain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 58 played minutes DOE FC got a freekick which was hit by Brain Romano. After 59 played minutes DOE FC got a freekick which was hit by Linwood Livingston. When Luigi Parra fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Friction's protests and gave Luigi Parra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, The Friction was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luigi Parra to maneuver through the defense. Randy Waddell shot a long shot in the 63rd minute and a light blocked Julio Garland hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-0. Daren Hawthorne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Boyle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Léopold Crain. DOE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Boyle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brain Romano in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Garland saved The Friction from getting behind. After having played for 79 minutes, Brain Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DOE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brain Romano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of The Friction booed when DOE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randy Waddell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Friction's Julio Garland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brain Romano in the 85th minute of play. If Daren Hawthorne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of The Friction booed when DOE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léandre McDonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Léopold Crain acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lionel Lereau. DOE FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of The Friction for a fine match.
