A wasted opportunity for Suquash AFC. Chadwick Doherty charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chadwick Doherty the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gilles Nolan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fabio Jöhl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Jöhl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilles Nolan in the 20th minute of the match. Gilles Nolan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Jöhl having to interfere. Juste Marks might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Jöhl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juste Marks ran back to his position shaking his head. After 38 played minutes Suquash AFC got a freekick which was hit by Joe Mohr. 43 minutes into the game, Finnegan FC's Chadwick Doherty nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Achille McCollum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilles Nolan to strike the kick off in the second half. Suquash AFC's Gilles Nolan got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Jöhl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilles Nolan, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Achille McCollum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chadwick Doherty in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintin Browning in the 93rd minute of play forced Suquash AFC's goalkeeper Achille McCollum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Chadwick Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achille McCollum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chadwick Doherty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Achille McCollum having to make a save. The Suquash AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Finnegan FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
