Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Warren Fry made the kick off which started today's match. Warren Fry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Napoleon Yost read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Montreal Unionists's goal looked a bit too open when Rubin Contreras came free, but Alvin Whittington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Montreal Unionists's Warren Fry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Napoleon Yost made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Shirley Glover dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Napoleon Yost, 2-0. Alvin Whittington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubin Contreras, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Zachery Hemphill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Claxton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montreal Unionists the free kick. Zachery Hemphill hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The supporters of Claxton booed when Montreal Unionists was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pete Mailly didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvin Whittington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubin Contreras in the 31st minute of play. After 33 played minutes Montreal Unionists got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Guillory. The throw-in from Gregg Hinton in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Montreal Unionists's Tobias Chaussée. Alvin Whittington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antwan Steward in the 42nd minute of the match. Antwan Steward scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvin Whittington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Yves Pugh hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Shirley Glover managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montreal Unionists's supporters rose to their feet, but Shirley Glover was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Napoleon Yost breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Napoleon Yost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shirley Glover, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Warren Fry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montreal Unionists fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 70th minute of the match Rémi Beauchamps sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Napoleon Yost skillfully saved the ball. Claxton's Napoleon Yost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keenan Cartwright in the 73rd minute of play. Napoleon Yost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shirley Glover in the 74th minute of play. Warren Fry struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Napoleon Yost didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montreal Unionists. Dorian Brodeur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montreal Unionists's Warren Fry got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Warren Fry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Napoleon Yost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keenan Cartwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montreal Unionists's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
