A collision led to Portugal FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dorsey Landis hit a great ball. William Begin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachery Hemphill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Claxton's goalkeeper Napoleon Yost, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ollie Stahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Randy Redmond kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Portugal FC's Jerold Dick broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Portugal FC's William Begin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Cuevas in the 27th minute of play. William Begin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubin Contreras, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Napoleon Yost was a little too slow when Leonel Nadeau got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-0. Claxton's Napoleon Yost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Nadeau in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Zachery Hemphill notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Portugal FC's William Begin. William Begin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Nadeau made a kick off. Napoleon Yost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Nadeau, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ambroise Winters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Yost having to interfere. Napoleon Yost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorsey Landis in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Portugal FC's goalkeeper William Begin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Cuevas. In the 72nd minute, Arlen Léveillé hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Antwan Steward shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Begin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but William Begin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ollie Stahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Napoleon Yost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
