Bergland's Bo Timmons got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adalberto Marion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sherman Harrington, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of AberdeenOilers booed when Bergland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezra Ohara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Bo Timmons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Marion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Parker Lanoie kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Sherman Harrington had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adalberto Marion. AberdeenOilers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sherman Harrington was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alton Ewing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theo Parham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Gerardo Dailey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adalberto Marion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sherman Harrington's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Alton Ewing recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Theo Parham. Alton Ewing showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Barton Lachapelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bergland's Philibert Walls got a free kick in the 48th minute.

After some careless play in the Bergland defense, Alton Ewing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theo Parham. The Bergland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theo Parham should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, AberdeenOilers's Augustus Mott got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bergland's Sherman Harrington slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adalberto Marion. That made the score 2-2 after 65 minutes of play. Bo Timmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Adalberto Marion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute of the match, Sherman Harrington tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adalberto Marion saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 74th minute, Sherman Harrington fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 75 played minutes AberdeenOilers got a freekick which was hit by Augustus Mott. Theo Parham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barton Lachapelle in the 82nd minute of the match. AberdeenOilers's Barton Lachapelle managed to work through Bergland's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Barton Lachapelle dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Alton Ewing charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alton Ewing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bergland booed when AberdeenOilers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alton Ewing didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Barton Lachapelle came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the AberdeenOilers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barton Lachapelle couldn't finish the play. Barton Lachapelle took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theo Parham. Theo Parham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2.
