Vauquelin CN's Lou Bergman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Smitt in the 43rd minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredric Lebel to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Fly T.T's Franciszek Kopacz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lou Bergman. That made the score 0-8 after 51 minutes of play. Franciszek Kopacz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lou Bergman having to interfere. Damon Vernadeau's late challenge caught a Fly T.T's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
