Marty Salter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Lou Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Marty Salter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc MacDonald charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc MacDonald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kill-Animals fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! If Marty Salter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vauquelin CN's Lou Bergman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Vauquelin CN from getting a goal against them. Guadalupe Schroeder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lou Bergman came out and tried to block the shot, but Guadalupe Schroeder slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. After 28 minutes, Devin Tisserand made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vauquelin CN's Lou Bergman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kill-Animals's Guadalupe Schroeder got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Lebel in the 38th minute of play forced Kill-Animals's goalkeeper Phil Darling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Devin Tisserand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Vauquelin CN's Lou Bergman got control of the ball when Marty Salter tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Devin Tisserand put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lou Bergman. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fredric Lebel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guadalupe Schroeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lou Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devin Tisserand in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marty Salter in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lou Bergman saved Vauquelin CN from getting behind. Vauquelin CN's Lou Bergman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Salter in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vauquelin CN's goalkeeper Lou Bergman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Marty Salter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lou Bergman was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 75th minute Marty Salter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damon Vernadeau during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vauquelin CN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredric Lebel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Fredric Lebel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mack Holley hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Devin Tisserand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Lou Bergman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Kill-Animals were the better team. Kill-Animals's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
