When Summerland FC's Lyndon Schaffer in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's goalie prevented a goal. Brooks Hagen hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The supporters of Summerland FC booed when Gracias a la Pelota - DAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kendrick Zeigler didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Summerland FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Marcos Caron hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Filiberto James shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kheiron Kouropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Tony Nanuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lyndon Schaffer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kheiron Kouropoulos made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Filiberto James sent off a good shot on target. But to his dismay, Filiberto James quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto James in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kheiron Kouropoulos saved Summerland FC from getting behind. If Charly Beaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kendrick Zeigler got free with Kheiron Kouropoulos in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kendrick Zeigler's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Kheiron Kouropoulos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 41 minutes into the game, Filiberto James cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Kheiron Kouropoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kheiron Kouropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto James, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute of the match, Caio Silveira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kheiron Kouropoulos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 48th minute, Filiberto James ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kheiron Kouropoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kheiron Kouropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Sizemore, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 62 minutes of play, Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's Filiberto James made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kheiron Kouropoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65thth minute of the game Filiberto James who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Summerland FC's Kheiron Kouropoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's players were relieved. 84 minutes into the match, Summerland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Savion Labra came free, but Kheiron Kouropoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kheiron Kouropoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Savion Labra went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. When Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's Filiberto James in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 91st minute, Théodore Ménard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Gracias a la Pelota - DAM fans cheered their team off the field, for while Summerland FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
