Bemabe Camudio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Millan Abellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Betão da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kelemen Solera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kelemen Solera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betão da Mata read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Yacuces AFC booed when ECCORAZ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafo Galdamez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 50 played minutes ECCORAZ FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafo Galdamez. Astor Bergada might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betão da Mata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Bergada ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Yacuces AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 66th match minute, Yacuces AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabrio Castañares to maneuver through the defense. Naike Hubieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Jaquinot was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 72 played minutes ECCORAZ FC got a freekick which was hit by Tome Cuenia. Betão da Mata was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gabrio Castañares. Millan Abellaneda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Betão da Mata having to make a save. Millan Abellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
