Guaberto Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enver Başbuğoğlu in the 7th minute of play. If Enver Başbuğoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Amarete AFC's Xofre Abalos threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Obano Sala, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Xofre Abalos managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Amarete AFC's Marino Lazcano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 28 minutes into the match, Obano Sala dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xofre Abalos, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Chapaquia FC's Eli Abella got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Fagildo Trillo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xofre Abalos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Arnau Abajas fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapaquia FC's protests and gave Arnau Abajas a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Chapaquia FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnau Abajas. Xofre Abalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Obano Sala, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Enver Başbuğoğlu made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Enver Başbuğoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapaquia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enver Başbuğoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute of the match Eli Abella shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guaberto Barrera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marino Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xofre Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Obano Sala in the 69th minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Chapaquia FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Peña. The supporters of Amarete AFC booed when Chapaquia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelayo Abancens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enver Başbuğoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Guaberto Barrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chapaquia FC's Xofre Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marino Lazcano in the 86th minute of play. If Enver Başbuğoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pelayo Abancens's late challenge caught a Amarete AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pelayo Abancens helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Amarete AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marino Lazcano to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chapaquia FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Amarete AFC.
