Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Errolan Pedroza in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Barrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Chuana FC's zone, Marino Lazcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerrold Lamiar came out of the goal and Marino Lazcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Amarete AFC booed when Chuana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zemario Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gorka Capon fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amarete AFC's protests and gave Gorka Capon a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Amarete AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gorka Capon. Paulo Cubero struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Guaberto Barrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chuana FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Errolan Pedroza in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Guaberto Barrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Errolan Pedroza in the 34th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Obano Sala to strike the kick off in the second half. Jerrold Lamiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marino Lazcano in the 52nd minute. Marino Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paulo Cubero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Errolan Pedroza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Barrera having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Amarete AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Cubero came free, but Guaberto Barrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Barrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Cubero, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Errolan Pedroza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
