Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Iratze Moraina started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vigil Carbezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benino Menoyo in the 4th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes Gatea got a freekick which was hit by Valentine Villaescusa. Zuberoa Figueruela kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brun Arana in the 12th minute of play forced Jayutia AFC's goalkeeper Vigil Carbezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gatea's Gaizka Erosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Gatea from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Gatea's Aznar Carrete got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Jobo Gañona came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Jayutia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jobo Gañona couldn't finish the play. Gatea's Gaizka Erosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iratze Moraina in the 22nd minute of play. If Brun Arana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brun Arana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vigil Carbezo having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Jayutia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Maura Boher. In the 34th minute, Benino Menoyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Iratze Moraina fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gaizka Erosa, passed just outside the right post. Vigil Carbezo came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Gatea's Brun Arana. But to his dismay, Brun Arana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brun Arana was the one to do the kick off. Jobo Gañona struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gaizka Erosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jayutia AFC. Vigil Carbezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benino Menoyo in the 60th minute of play. Jobo Gañona struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benino Menoyo got free with Vigil Carbezo in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Jayutia AFC's Iratze Moraina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaizka Erosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaizka Erosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jobo Gañona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Jobo Gañona put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gaizka Erosa. Benino Menoyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Gatea players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Jayutia AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
