Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Gorka Gala successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 7 played minutes Campanario got a freekick which was hit by Timeteo Abaunza. If Diego Charlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gorka Gala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arias Abaunza in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Suripuquio FC's Sugar Barbera got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Dantel Ripalta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suripuquio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campanario the free kick. The supporters of Campanario booed when Suripuquio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dantel Ripalta didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Suripuquio FC's Gorka Gala got control of the ball when Arias Abaunza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caetano Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Charlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Diego Charlo took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano Abad. Caetano Abad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Campanario's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Charlo came free, but Caetano Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arias Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Suripuquio FC's Gorka Gala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garcia Abancens in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Arias Abaunza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gorka Gala was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Luzaide Abad hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes, Suripuquio FC's Betadur Telleria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Caetano Abad came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Suripuquio FC reached it. Anton Abancens struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Gorka Gala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campanario. Betadur Telleria was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Suripuquio FC! In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Campanario. Garcia Abancens stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gorka Gala. 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Garcia Abancens was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Abaunza in the 55th minute of play forced Suripuquio FC's goalkeeper Gorka Gala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Garcia Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campanario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garcia Abancens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gorka Gala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garcia Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Campanario's zone, Diego Charlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano Abad came out of the goal and Diego Charlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Garcia Abancens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gorka Gala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arias Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Diego Charlo came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Caetano Abad could save by the left post. Arias Abaunza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gorka Gala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Campanario's Arias Abaunza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gorka Gala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 87 minutes into the match, Suripuquio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arias Abaunza came free, but Gorka Gala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gorka Gala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garcia Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4-2 became the score in the 90th minute when Arias Abaunza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Campanario fully deserved thier win.
