With a little luck, Lamento Boliviano's Augusto Vergílio got control of the ball when Daniel Onega tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicanor Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zsolt Molnár in the 6th minute of the match. Nicanor Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jos Musseeuw in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Adrio Abeijon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lamento Boliviano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Pulpo Paceño the free kick. The supporters of El Pulpo Paceño booed when Lamento Boliviano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algimantas Tarasevičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicanor Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zsolt Molnár, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Lamento Boliviano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ingvar Vollander in the 16th minute. Aristides Lluc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Algimantas Tarasevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. El Pulpo Paceño's Aristides Lluc got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. El Pulpo Paceño's Nicanor Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsolt Molnár in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Adrio Abeijon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Lluc in the 31st minute of play. In the 44th minute Aristides Lluc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zsolt Molnár, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Augusto Vergílio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Onega in the 48th minute.

Lamento Boliviano made a substitution. Manu Abajas replaced Timoteo Abadie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zsolt Molnár to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jos Musseeuw in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicanor Ascencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 55 minutes El Pulpo Paceño's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ingvar Vollander who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ingvar Vollander got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nicanor Ascencio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to El Pulpo Paceño getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Daniel Onega hit a great ball. El Pulpo Paceño's Tirso Abajas was substituted for Balasi Berar. Jos Musseeuw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nicanor Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Onega in the 80th minute of play forced Lamento Boliviano's goalkeeper Augusto Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ysmael Abad during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ysmael Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to El Pulpo Paceño getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ysmael Abad hit a great ball. In the 88th match minute, Lamento Boliviano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierres Abadie to maneuver through the defense. Lamento Boliviano's Augusto Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Lockwood in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El Pulpo Paceño's zone, Pierres Abadie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Ascencio came out of the goal and Pierres Abadie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the El Pulpo Paceño defense, Jos Musseeuw kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicanor Ascencio. The El Pulpo Paceño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicanor Ascencio should have stopped the shot. The El Pulpo Paceño fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lamento Boliviano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
