He was immediately shown a red card. 3 minutes into the game, one of Escuadrón Mercenario:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Escuadrón Mercenario's Nando Toscano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Escuadrón Mercenario from getting a goal against them. Nando Toscano made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Algimantas Tarasevičius sent off a good shot on target. Zé Pedro Medeiros hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zsolt Molnár got free with Nando Toscano in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nando Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierres Abadie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nando Toscano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jos Musseeuw's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The Lamento Boliviano fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Lamento Boliviano's Jos Musseeuw looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wasyl Karanewski hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Enrique Abeijon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Augusto Vergílio. Lamento Boliviano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Escuadrón Mercenario's goalkeeper Nando Toscano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Algimantas Tarasevičius. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Zsolt Molnár made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Jos Musseeuw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Messias in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Vergílio saved Lamento Boliviano from getting behind. Escuadrón Mercenario were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Lamento Boliviano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gartxot Abeita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Escuadrón Mercenario's corner Gartxot Abeita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Augusto Vergílio quite easily take care of the ball. Ramiro Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ingvar Vollander kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Lamento Boliviano made a substitution. Christovao Abastas replaced Zsolt Molnár. Ingvar Vollander hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Escuadrón Mercenario's Ramiro Messias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Wasyl Karanewski charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wasyl Karanewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Escuadrón Mercenario booed when Lamento Boliviano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wasyl Karanewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Vergílio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Peli Abalos. Peli Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Augusto Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Augusto Vergílio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Augusto Vergílio managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Escuadrón Mercenario's Ramiro Messias fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Peli Abalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Vergílio having to interfere. Nando Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christovao Abastas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Escuadrón Mercenario players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lamento Boliviano from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
