In the 5th minute, Bibiano Reinoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Ceibal's Yader Ozores sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xaver Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Magdaleno Sotolongo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Anton Iruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Averias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yader Ozores in the 20th minute of play forced Averias's goalkeeper Xaver Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magdaleno Sotolongo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Anton Iruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yader Ozores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Ceibal's goalkeeper Anton Iruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magdaleno Sotolongo. In the 42nd minute of the match Ellande Pedronera sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Iruz skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Bibiano Reinoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceibal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bibiano Reinoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bibiano Reinoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Xaver Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Yader Ozores made the kick off in the second half. If Simao Belandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yader Ozores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simao Belandia in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Iruz saved Ceibal from getting behind. Xaver Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bibiano Reinoso in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Ceibal defense, Txordon Blas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Iruz. The Ceibal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Iruz should have stopped the shot. Ceibal's Anton Iruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magdaleno Sotolongo in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Magdaleno Sotolongo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Averias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magdaleno Sotolongo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xuoco Recemill hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Veto Treviño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Iruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magdaleno Sotolongo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Magdaleno Sotolongo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Averias fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Averias's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
