Mateus Recio's late challenge caught a Escudero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateus Recio helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ceibal FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! In the 16th minute of the match Escudero got a corner. Ceibal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mantzio Breijoo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A hard shot 21 in the game by Christiano Calviño from a close distance when the talented Firmin Berroa managed to make a qualified save. Escudero's players were relieved. Escudero's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mantzio Breijoo in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escudero's goalkeeper Firmin Berroa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reimundo Conchas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valente Bachiller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiano Calviño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Firmin Berroa made a huge save. Maore Gilavert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Firmin Berroa having to make a save. A collision led to Escudero getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cordearo Rocandia hit a great ball. When Maore Gilavert came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ceibal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maore Gilavert couldn't finish the play. With 48 minutes on the clock, Gasteiz Cabo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Escudero a penalty, 51 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mantzio Breijoo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ceibal FC's Reimundo Conchas. 0-2. The Ceibal FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Escudero were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christiano Calviño stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valente Bachiller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Reimundo Conchas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ceibal FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tabb Villodas hit a great ball. Gaspard Candanedo charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspard Candanedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ceibal FC booed when Escudero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspard Candanedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valente Bachiller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Ceibal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valente Bachiller came free, but Reimundo Conchas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roano Llul during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ceibal FC's Roano Llul got a free kick in the 86th minute. Valente Bachiller was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Escudero's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Angelo Buiza struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Reimundo Conchas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escudero. 91 minutes into the match, Ceibal FC's goalkeeper Reimundo Conchas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Buiza. In the 94th minute, Valente Bachiller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Escudero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Presebal Aostri fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceibal FC's protests and gave Presebal Aostri a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ceibal FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Presebal Aostri hit a great ball. Firmin Berroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Calviño in the 100th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 102nd minute, Bernal Asturianos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceibal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernal Asturianos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Firmin Berroa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Escudero's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
