Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Joanico's Peyo Ugartondo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Peyo Ugartondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peyo Ugartondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firmin Berroa having to interfere. Luis-Antonio Galiana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firmin Berroa having to interfere. Luis-Antonio Galiana might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Firmin Berroa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis-Antonio Galiana ran back to his position shaking his head. Peyo Ugartondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firmin Berroa having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Cordearo Rocandia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Escudero and the Joanico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Escudero got a freekick which was hit by Cordearo Rocandia. Firmin Berroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peyo Ugartondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Joanico's zone, Angelo Buiza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Peñin came out of the goal and Angelo Buiza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis-Antonio Galiana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Firmin Berroa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Escudero's goalkeeper Firmin Berroa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis-Antonio Galiana. Angelo Buiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ambrosio Peñin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valente Bachiller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerazan Ramirez hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Angelo Buiza came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Escudero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Buiza couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valente Bachiller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Escudero got a freekick which was hit by Valente Bachiller. After a defensive mix-up in Escudero's zone, Gerazan Ramirez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Firmin Berroa came out of the goal and Gerazan Ramirez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Firmin Berroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peyo Ugartondo in the 60th minute of the match. Cordearo Rocandia kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Peyo Ugartondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joanico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peyo Ugartondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Peyo Ugartondo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Firmin Berroa was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 78th match minute, Joanico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepito Encio to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Buizas short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Ambrosio Peñin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ambrosio Peñin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valente Bachiller in the 85th minute of the match. After 91 minutes of play Escudero's Cordearo Rocandia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 96th minute of the match, Angelo Buiza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ambrosio Peñin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
