Rafel Arzalaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iraunkor Bustos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efraim Ladron having to interfere. Hernandez Biempica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurendi Ayuso having to interfere. Laurendi Ayuso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brais Padrones showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 11th minute Pirro Fortuño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efraim Ladron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iraunkor Bustos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Pirro Fortuño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrancas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 22nd minute of the match Carlos Courel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efraim Ladron showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rafel Arzalaga hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Carlos Courel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Illescas's Brais Padrones dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Laurendi Ayuso made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Honorato Huelga sent off a good shot on target. Efraim Ladron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iraunkor Bustos in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brais Padrones to strike the kick off in the second half. Barrancas FC's Laurendi Ayuso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernandez Biempica in the 51st minute of play. Laurendi Ayuso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brais Padrones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brais Padrones in the 55th minute of play forced Barrancas FC's goalkeeper Laurendi Ayuso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Roches's late challenge caught a Illescas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored Barrancas FC's protests and gave Isauro Loaisa a yellow card for diving instead. Isauro Loaisa hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match.
