Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victoro Lombraña started the match with the kick off. Clodoveo Cuesta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaen Tortoles in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Mancio Cercalde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mancio Cercalde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Sibila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoro Lombraña in the 9th minute of play forced Canelones FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Sibila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaen Tortoles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Castulo Albarez fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canelones FC's protests and gave Castulo Albarez a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victoro Lombraña in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Sibila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Veras FC's zone, Rolando Almandoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Cuesta came out of the goal and Rolando Almandoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Almandoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Clodoveo Cuesta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clodoveo Cuesta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Almandoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Rolando Almandoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erlantz Binas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Sibila having to interfere. Jaen Tortoles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Clodoveo Cuesta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Victoro Lombraña made a precise shot to the right of Ildefonso Sibila. Canelones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rolando Almandoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erlantz Binas's late challenge caught a Canelones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erlantz Binas helped the player get up and apologised. Erlantz Binas hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Veras FC got a freekick which was hit by Tercero Elorriaga. The audience held their breath when Shepherd Viña in the 65th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Clodoveo Cuesta's left hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaen Tortoles in the 68th minute of play forced Veras FC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Cuesta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Veras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Almandoz came free, but Clodoveo Cuesta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Jaen Tortoles sped through Veras FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clodoveo Cuesta. 78 minutes into the match, Canelones FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Sibila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonsalve Lanis. In the 82nd match minute, Veras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mancio Cercalde to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Veras FC's Victoro Lombraña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ildefonso Sibila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaen Tortoles struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Clodoveo Cuesta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canelones FC. After having played for 96 minutes, Victoro Lombraña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoro Lombraña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
