Calera's supporters rose to their feet, but Tonete Gayoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Cubillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruperto Axeitos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Matro Retana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beliran Carnero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Cubillo having to interfere. Ruperto Axeitos in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Matro Retana, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 25 played minutes Tiatucura got a freekick which was hit by Chayo Goiti. In the 27th minute, Zenaido Farre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldo Quijada took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sergio Cubillo. Tiatucura's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Calera's Beliran Carnero got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calera's Matro Retana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Axeitos in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Kevin Agunaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Ruperto Axeitos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Matro Retana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Tiatucura's Xaver Onil got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th match minute, Calera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolome Ricaredo to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chayo Goiti to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolome Ricaredo during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Calera getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bartolome Ricaredo hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Chayo Goiti notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Calera's Matro Retana. Matro Retana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sergio Cubillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beliran Carnero in the 60th minute of play. Sergio Cubillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tonete Gayoso in the 62nd minute. Tonete Gayosos short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Sergio Cubillo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kevin Agunaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Cubillo having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Calera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Batalle to maneuver through the defense. When Chayo Goiti came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Tiatucura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chayo Goiti couldn't finish the play. Ruperto Axeitos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Cubillo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beliran Carnero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 83 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tiatucura had won after a very even match.
