Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lazaro Garabito kicked off to start the match. Zeruko Horreo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chayo Goiti, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Trinidad's Montel Trujillo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Chayo Goiti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Cubillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bermund Arandoja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lazaro Garabito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montel Trujillo charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Montel Trujillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Chayo Goiti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Trinidad's zone, Quintin Hiriart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeruko Horreo came out of the goal and Quintin Hiriart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiatucura's Chayo Goiti got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 67th minute, Mincho Gustros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Montel Trujillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sergio Cubillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiatucura's Sergio Cubillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zumar Chartuni in the 73rd minute of play. After 76 minutes, Lazaro Garabito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiatucura and the Trinidad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lazaro Garabito kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Zumar Chartuni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Trinidad booed when Tiatucura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janpier Ali didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Larra Villacian sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tiatucura's Sergio Cubillo didn't even have to move. Zumar Chartuni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 played minutes Tiatucura got a freekick which was hit by Xaver Onil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bermund Arandoja in the 94th minute of play forced Tiatucura's goalkeeper Sergio Cubillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zumar Chartuni struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Sergio Cubillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trinidad. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
