Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vila's Misael Arriaga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Misael Arriaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lidon Caselles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vila's Froylan Betzanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bautista Viya in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila's goalkeeper Froylan Betzanos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Bautista Viya came free, but Froylan Betzanos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montae Gauna struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Froylan Betzanos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palma FC. Miguel Agra kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Bautista Viya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bautista Viya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pelagius Sobron hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Montae Gauna came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Palma FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Montae Gauna couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Montae Gauna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 played minutes, Palma FC's Germano Alire shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Froylan Betzanos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palma FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Vila's Pelagius Sobron got a free kick in the 28th minute. Montae Gauna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Montae Gauna came free, but Froylan Betzanos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Palma FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eulalio Celerain hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Montae Gauna made the kick off in the second half. Montae Gauna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 minutes, Urko Bengoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila and the Palma FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vila getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Urko Bengoa hit a great ball. The supporters of Palma FC booed when Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veremundo Carragal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th match minute, Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelagius Sobron to maneuver through the defense. If Montae Gauna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Bautista Viya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palma FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bautista Viya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froylan Betzanos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Montae Gauna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palma FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bautista Viya got free with Froylan Betzanos in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 84 played minutes Vila got a freekick which was hit by Federigo Dobarral. When Vito Villamayor came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Vila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito Villamayor couldn't finish the play. Palma FC's Juaneizu Arzalaga got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Froylan Betzanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Montae Gauna in the 94th minute of the match. The Palma FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
