Cordarrell Victorica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reynold. Chilcas's Cordarrell Victorica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xove Binas in the 4th minute of play. If Eusko Ocerin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusko Ocerin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordarrell Victorica having to interfere. In the 15th minute Eusko Ocerin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordarrell Victorica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Xove Binas came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Reynold fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xove Binas couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Chilcas defense, Eusko Ocerin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cordarrell Victorica. The Chilcas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cordarrell Victorica should have stopped the shot. Reynold's Xove Binas got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xove Binas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordarrell Victorica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusko Ocerin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Gaskon Maldonado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfonso Padriña. The goal made the score 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loi Beltran during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of Reynold:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chilcas:s goal. The referee gave Chilcas a penalty, 51 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lluciano Bolide, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Reynold's Alfonso Padriña. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaskon Maldonado was the one to do the kick off. If Eusko Ocerin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Reynold's zone, Gaskon Maldonado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Padriña came out of the goal and Gaskon Maldonado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusko Ocerin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 80 minutes, Domeka Reyero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chilcas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domeka Reyero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domeka Reyero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Alfonso Padriña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
