Fernado Olando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madaleno Ibio having to interfere. Xulian Vilamajo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Madaleno Ibio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbasa Valera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Christiano Escapa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Urbasa Valera put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Madaleno Ibio. Christiano Escapa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Berdoi Guismonde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Urbasa Valera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maturrango AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbasa Valera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Madaleno Ibio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute Lauaxeta Cotera suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 38 minutes into the game, Cibran Ladron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguirre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maturrango AFC the free kick. The supporters of Maturrango AFC booed when Aguirre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cibran Ladron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maturrango AFC's Jerold Arruta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Escapa in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Camilo Solano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madaleno Ibio having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Pirmin Cantolla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maturrango AFC and the Aguirre players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Maturrango AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pirmin Cantolla to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute of the match Maturrango AFC got a corner. Aguirre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isaias Victorica ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Isaias Victorica almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aguirre's Madaleno Ibio did a great save. If Urbasa Valera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jerold Arruta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Escapa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urbasa Valera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Madaleno Ibio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Incendio Murias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maturrango AFC and the Aguirre players grew even worse after the yellow card. Incendio Murias hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Berdoi Guismonde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguirre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berdoi Guismonde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Berdoi Guismonde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Christiano Escapa came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Aguirre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiano Escapa couldn't finish the play. In the 86th match minute, Maturrango AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Solano to maneuver through the defense. Christiano Escapa struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jerold Arruta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguirre. In the 92nd minute, Fernado Olando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
