After having played for 6 minutes, Socorro Aranzabal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olmos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Socorro Aranzabal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ferrer Ruidiaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocio Canal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Itapebi booed when Olmos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Osma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noe Pacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ferrer Ruidiaz made a huge save. Socorro Aranzabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucado Noguera having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Socorro Aranzabal in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucado Noguera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Itapebi's Noe Pacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferrer Ruidiaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferrer Ruidiaz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Olmos's goal looked a bit too open when Rocio Canal came free, but Ferrer Ruidiaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Itapebi's protests and gave Cesario Recino a yellow card for diving instead. Itapebi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Socorro Aranzabal made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Itapebi's Noe Pacio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferrer Ruidiaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ferrer Ruidiaz came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Itapebi's Rocio Canal. But to his dismay, Rocio Canal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noe Pacio in the 60th minute of play forced Olmos's goalkeeper Ferrer Ruidiaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Socorro Aranzabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Lucado Noguera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Itapebi's Elixio Avina got a free kick in the 65th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Olmos's Archibaldo Tomas tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Socorro Aranzabal in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucado Noguera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Itapebi had won after a very even match.
