Martinote's Foro Isasi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Martinote from getting a goal against them. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yiyo Zurita couldn't finish the play. Ferrer Ruidiaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignazio Fuentes in the 8th minute of play. If Ignazio Fuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Olmos's Pascual Miranda got a free kick in the 15th minute. Zadornin Figueroa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 minutes, Zadornin Figueroa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Martinote and the Olmos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Martinote getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Zadornin Figueroa hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match Archibaldo Tomas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Foro Isasi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 28th minute Archibaldo Tomas managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Socorro Aranzabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferrer Ruidiaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignazio Fuentes in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yiyo Zurita was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Olmos got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Miranda. Ferrer Ruidiaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yiyo Zurita, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Yiyo Zurita struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ferrer Ruidiaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martinote. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olmos's goalkeeper Ferrer Ruidiaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Olmos got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Miranda. When Socorro Aranzabal came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Olmos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Socorro Aranzabal couldn't finish the play. If Gabon Reoyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
