The player immediately received a yellow card. Paio Valli had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Baleren Saco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 10th minute Erramu Villamor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paio Valli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chacarita's Frantxizko Gilavert got a free kick in the 10th minute. When Cordeiro Arroyo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita's protests and gave Cordeiro Arroyo a yellow card for diving instead. Paio Valli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inguma Gamiz went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Erramu Villamor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Paio Valli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chacarita's goalkeeper Paio Valli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicodemo Zarzuelo made a kick off. Nicodemo Zarzuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gar Fornell having to interfere. Coion's Gar Fornell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose-Antonio Aras in the 60th minute of play. When Jakue Elosua came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Coion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakue Elosua couldn't finish the play. Nicodemo Zarzuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gar Fornell having to interfere. Gar Fornell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodemo Zarzuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jakue Elosua got free with Paio Valli in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the game, Sandaili Galarza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coion's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodemo Zarzuelo in the 84th minute of play forced Coion's goalkeeper Gar Fornell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jose-Antonio Aras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Erramu Villamor fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Paio Valli, passed just outside the right post. In the 94th match minute, Chacarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frantxizko Gilavert to maneuver through the defense.
