Fernanco Rilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gumaro Rosal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feo Cantolla was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Froila Sotolongo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Froila Sotolongo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Feo Cantolla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froila Sotolongo in the 32nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Xarles Sariego ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gumaro Rosal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernanco Rilo in the 48th minute of play forced Maguna's goalkeeper Gumaro Rosal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Froila Sotolongo to make the kick off. Maguna's Froila Sotolongo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Efraim Galindo's late challenge caught a Maguna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efraim Galindo helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Guerrero:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maguna:s goal. Ralondo Rivera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Maguna's Froila Sotolongo in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guerrero's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute Froila Sotolongo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feo Cantolla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Guerrero's goal looked a bit too open when Ralondo Rivera came free, but Feo Cantolla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feo Cantolla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froila Sotolongo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralondo Rivera in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feo Cantolla saved Guerrero from getting behind. In the 89th match minute, Guerrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Ageitos to maneuver through the defense. Feo Cantolla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froila Sotolongo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Maguna players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
