Eguntsenti Tuero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Genaro Oliver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iker Toraya charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iker Toraya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Iker Toraya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Larrinoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidensio Tosantos went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Genaro Oliver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazario Riancho in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Inko Guevara suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chamizo AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Danilo Bispo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Eguntsenti Tuero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Oliver having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chamizo AFC's goalkeeper Gaspar Larrinoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Fidensio Tosantos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fidensio Tosantos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nazario Riancho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Genaro Oliver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eguntsenti Tuero in the 55th minute. After 60 played minutes Cardozo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Iker Toraya. Eguntsenti Tuero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Genaro Oliver made a huge save. Nazario Riancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Oliver having to make a save. If Fidensio Tosantos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nazario Riancho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Chamizo AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Eguntsenti Tuero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chamizo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eguntsenti Tuero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Oliver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazario Riancho in the 81st minute of play forced Cardozo AFC's goalkeeper Genaro Oliver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Baladi Sala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chamizo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cardozo AFC the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Baladi Sala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xavon Pallares hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Nazario Riancho struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Genaro Oliver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chamizo AFC. After 91 minutes of play, Cardozo AFC's Xavon Pallares made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaspar Larrinoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Chamizo AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
