Honrio Leiro scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquim Pamo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Honrio Leiro in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After 20 played minutes Acegua FC got a freekick which was hit by Porfirio Valpuesta. After a defensive mix-up in Soto's zone, Honrio Leiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Pamo came out of the goal and Honrio Leiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 27 played minutes Soto got a freekick which was hit by Beltza Estua. Herminio Feyjo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Honrio Leiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acegua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honrio Leiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honrio Leiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Pamo having to interfere. Soto's Joaquim Pamo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymon Tielve in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillen Carriles was the one to do the kick off.
