In the 5th minute Perez Garzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Riera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes, Ximenes Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canas and the Chuy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Canas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chuy FC:s goal. Teodoro Capitan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipo Pombo having to interfere. Erdiano Haya's late challenge caught a Chuy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erdiano Haya helped the player get up and apologised. Erdiano Haya kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Inaki Tezano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Canas's Filipo Pombo didn't even have to move. The crowd rose to their feet as Marques Buruaga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filipo Pombo. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Fausto Riera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perez Garzon in the 28th minute of the match. When Perez Garzon came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Canas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perez Garzon couldn't finish the play. Canas's Txaran Vergas suffered a sore thigh after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Chuy FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Baltasar Morell hit a great ball. Orkatz Franquis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pacorro Borica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Canas's Pacorro Borica in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chuy FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th minute, Pacorro Borica made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Riera. Chuy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Filipo Pombo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marques Buruaga in the 56th minute of play. Filipo Pombo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orkatz Franquis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64thth minute of the game Orkatz Franquis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canas's Filipo Pombo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chuy FC's Edilberto Landeros pulled a muscle in his back after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 69 minutes into the game, Cristian Castillejo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuy FC the free kick. Cristian Castillejo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Pacorro Borica got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Filipo Pombo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orkatz Franquis, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Naelio Piña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuy FC the free kick. After 88 played minutes Canas got a freekick which was hit by Naelio Piña. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Orkatz Franquis put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Filipo Pombo. Chuy FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
