The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristofor Ambrosio during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristofor Ambrosio hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Joaquim Abeita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Timeteo Hernainz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celedonio Ocaliz in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naelio Basel saved Pintos from getting behind. After having played for 16 minutes, Berbiz Larez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berbiz Larez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Castillos's Celedonio Ocaliz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berto Villaboa charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berto Villaboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Pintos got a freekick which was hit by Berto Villaboa. Berto Villaboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Celedonio Ocaliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Ocaliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelino Cortina kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Berbiz Larez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naelio Basel having to interfere. Berbiz Larez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Celedonio Ocaliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Ocaliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Berto Villaboa made the kick off in the second half. Pintos's Joaquim Abeita got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Castillos getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Luken Senabres hit a great ball. When Cristofor Ambrosio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. Berto Villaboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timeteo Hernainz having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Luken Senabres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Abeita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Timeteo Hernainz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berto Villaboa hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd match minute, Castillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gentza Periceira to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Joaquim Abeita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pintos's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Abeita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timeteo Hernainz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Abeita in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timeteo Hernainz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timeteo Hernainz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Abeita in the 96th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Pintos's Joaquim Abeita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timeteo Hernainz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
