Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ladrillos AFC's Tiburcio Huerga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Illart Barcaiztegui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiburcio Huerga in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romelio Landaluce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ponc Campusano struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Romelio Landaluce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ladrillos AFC. When Ponc Campusano fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ladrillos AFC's protests and gave Ponc Campusano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Echeverria FC booed when Ladrillos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ponc Campusano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laffitte Tablares shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Illart Barcaiztegui in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguez Anda saved Ladrillos AFC from getting behind. With a little luck, Echeverria FC's Romelio Landaluce got control of the ball when Jobo Cardeños tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 19 played minutes Echeverria FC got a freekick which was hit by Balasi Cirarruista. A hard shot by Natanael Peroria from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Romelio Landaluce's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bonadona Vaquero kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ladrillos AFC's goalkeeper Rodriguez Anda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ladrillos AFC's Tiburcio Huerga got a free kick in the 30th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Ladrillos AFC's Jobo Cardeños sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romelio Landaluce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ladrillos AFC's goalkeeper Rodriguez Anda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodriguez Anda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Illart Barcaiztegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Illart Barcaiztegui stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had been going on for 65 minutes, Echeverria FC's Laffitte Tablares got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rodriguez Anda. 73 minutes into the match, Ladrillos AFC's goalkeeper Rodriguez Anda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hunfredo Cases. Illart Barcaiztegui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodriguez Anda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After 80 played minutes, Ladrillos AFC's Afonso Cosio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Romelio Landaluce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ladrillos AFC reached it. In the 83rd minute, Illart Barcaiztegui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jobo Cardeños scored 2-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romelio Landaluce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hunfredo Cases got free with Rodriguez Anda in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodriguez Anda came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Echeverria FC's Hunfredo Cases. But to his dismay, Hunfredo Cases quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The Echeverria FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Echeverria FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
