Ceibal AFC's Oskarbi Daza got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 9 minutes, Tome Lupidana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polanco FC and the Ceibal AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Polanco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tome Lupidana to maneuver through the defense. Oskarbi Daza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olivar Vascones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iraitz Abello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Taurino Fontao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peli Laurenciano having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Peruanton Tagle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Polanco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Oskarbi Daza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ceibal AFC's Oskarbi Daza in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Polanco FC's goalie prevented a goal. Iraitz Abello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivar Vascones, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Oskarbi Daza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olivar Vascones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Polanco FC booed when Ceibal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beremundo Cañucar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peruanton Tagle to make the kick off. Peruanton Tagle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ceibal AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
