The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermon Mecaur got free with Galeno Barrena in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Acosta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerano Balmaceda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Galeno Barrena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Acosta FC's Hermon Mecaur in 79 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot.
