Seguinus Aldama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandro Elorriaga having to interfere. The supporters of Caraguata FC booed when Carqueja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brion Lamarta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Christiano Ayon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brion Lamarta in the 28th minute of play forced Caraguata FC's goalkeeper Geraldo Palmero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Carqueja FC's protests and gave Perez Davila a yellow card for diving instead. Perez Davila kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Carqueja FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
