Alex Estibalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Caraguata FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Nacho Labarrita hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Estibalez got free with Geraldo Palmero in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frascuelo Basallan hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Seguinus Aldama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes Rodriguez AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Aedo. Christiano Ayon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Christiano Ayon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Platon Barbajero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Ayon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geraldo Palmero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florinio Estefania in the 31st minute of the match. After 32 minutes, Beat Gopegui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caraguata FC and the Rodriguez AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Caraguata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beat Gopegui to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Palmero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florinio Estefania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Estibalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Geraldo Palmero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caraguata FC's Geraldo Palmero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florinio Estefania in the 39th minute of play. Frascuelo Basallan's late challenge caught a Rodriguez AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frascuelo Basallan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Caraguata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frascuelo Basallan to maneuver through the defense. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Rodriguez AFC's Florinio Estefania in the 41st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Geraldo Palmero was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Caraguata FC through an amazing save. After 48 minutes, Leonel Cillero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodriguez AFC and the Caraguata FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Rodriguez AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Cillero to maneuver through the defense. 49 minutes into the match, Caraguata FC's Nacho Labarrita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in Caraguata FC's zone, Florinio Estefania stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Palmero came out of the goal and Florinio Estefania tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christiano Ayon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Platon Barbajero having to interfere. Platon Barbajero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christiano Ayon in the 59th minute. Rodriguez AFC's Platon Barbajero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seguinus Aldama in the 70th minute of play. If Alex Estibalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodriguez AFC's Alex Estibalez got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florinio Estefania in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Palmero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Rodriguez AFC's Katia Espino got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Christiano Ayon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Platon Barbajero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Estibalez in the 92nd minute of play forced Caraguata FC's goalkeeper Geraldo Palmero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florinio Estefania recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 98 minutes, Florinio Estefania managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rodriguez AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florinio Estefania was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Caraguata FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
