Edur Navaes hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Licerio Luey charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramos Machicao showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 18 minutes, Peio Abel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valentin FC and the Tropezon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valentin FC's Ramos Machicao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Valentin FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Tropezon defense, Inigo Diestro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Savion Beysama. The Tropezon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Savion Beysama should have stopped the shot. Abel Mañon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ramos Machicao made a huge save. Valentin FC's Inigo Diestro got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute of the match Albano Mestanza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Savion Beysama showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Licerio Luey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramos Machicao didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Cerrudemos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Inigo Diestro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Cerrudemos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ramos Machicao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Viso hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Edur Navaes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramos Machicao skillfully saved the ball. In the 64th minute, Tibalt Merida made a precise shot to the right of Savion Beysama. Tropezon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Savion Beysama made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Tibalt Merida sent off a good shot on target. Tibalt Merida's late challenge caught a Tropezon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tibalt Merida helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Tibalt Merida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramos Machicao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Mañon's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. If Abel Mañon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 77 played minutes Valentin FC got a freekick which was hit by Inigo Diestro. After 79 minutes, Ernesto Cerrudemos made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Valentin FC's Ramos Machicao tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Mañon in the 83rd minute of play forced Valentin FC's goalkeeper Ramos Machicao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Tropezon's Ernesto Cerrudemos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramos Machicao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in Valentin FC's zone, Abel Mañon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramos Machicao came out of the goal and Abel Mañon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Valentin FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tropezon.
