In the 9th minute Palos Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnas Llordes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnas Llordes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Palos Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Pellas Calva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mateo Montenegro. The goal made the score 1-0. Bras Tercero struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Arnas Llordes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riachuelo AFC. If Bras Tercero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Mancio Corrillos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnas Llordes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bras Tercero, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Palos Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnas Llordes having to interfere. In the 45th minute, one of Tambores:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tambores. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pellas Calva to make the kick off. Mateo Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pellas Calva in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Tambores booed when Riachuelo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bras Tercero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 minutes, Frichoso Huemen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riachuelo AFC and the Tambores players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Riachuelo AFC's Frichoso Huemen got a free kick in the 60th minute. Marcelino Achutegui charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Achutegui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcelino Achutegui kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Tambores's Arnas Llordes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bras Tercero in the 68th minute of play. Riachuelo AFC's Bras Tercero got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Tambores's Pellas Calva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateo Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Palos Brion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnas Llordes. Tambores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Palos Brion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Bras Tercero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Arnas Llordes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dubardo Ogazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dubardo Ogazon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Montenegro having to interfere. After some careless play in the Riachuelo AFC defense, Pellas Calva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Montenegro. The Riachuelo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Montenegro should have stopped the shot. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
