Gelmiro Colombres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Quejo in the 15th minute of play. Montrell Vuelva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Gelmiro Colombres skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arturo Quejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gelmiro Colombres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Oyarzabal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nazario Respaldiza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Montrell Vuelva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Montrell Vuelva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Quejo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cordarrel Campomanes during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Arturo Quejo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Risso's Gelmiro Colombres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Quejo in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Risso walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
