The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zabal Olaverrieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinito Sierro in the 4th minute of play. Atarrabi Ruidiez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pasqual Urones in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ihazintu Astulez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Mon Caso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Atarrabi Ruidiez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charqueada FC's Ihazintu Astulez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Charqueada FC from getting a goal against them. When Quinito Sierro came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Charqueada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quinito Sierro couldn't finish the play. After 33rd play minutes Mon Caso shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Zabal Olaverrieta and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Yacot:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Charqueada FC:s goal. Yacot:s Zabal Olaverrieta showed great skill when he stopped Gasteiz Melendes:s penalty. After having played for 45 minutes, Quinito Sierro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charqueada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quinito Sierro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Charqueada FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pasqual Urones was the one to do the kick off. Zabal Olaverrieta made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Quinito Sierro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pasqual Urones in the 56th minute of play forced Charqueada FC's goalkeeper Ihazintu Astulez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Atarrabi Ruidiez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ihazintu Astulez. Charqueada FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atarrabi Ruidiez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Yacot's Juan Olan pulled a muscle in his leg after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 65 minutes, Quico Gabiña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charqueada FC and the Yacot players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute of the match Natal Urroz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ihazintu Astulez skillfully saved the ball. Quinito Sierro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ihazintu Astulez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Huguet went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Quinito Sierro kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 80thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Yacot's keeper Zabal Olaverrieta was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Haimar Armoña took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zabal Olaverrieta. Yacot's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Charqueada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gasteiz Melendes to maneuver through the defense. Quico Gabiña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Charqueada FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yacot.
