If Ambrosio Herezuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 11 minutes into the game, one of Laureles:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Guerrero a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ramirez Villafranca, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Laureles's Fernando Gamez. 0-1. Fernando Gamez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Lebrija in the 19th minute of the match. Martxel Remolino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Turi Betances made a huge save. In the 29th match minute, Guerrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ihazintu Aranguren to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximo Villalon during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maximo Villalon hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Froilan Lebrija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Gamez having to interfere. Tohias Bazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Gamez having to interfere. With a little luck, Guerrero's Turi Betances got control of the ball when Maximo Villalon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Laureles's zone, Ihazintu Aranguren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Gamez came out of the goal and Ihazintu Aranguren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximo Villalon struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Turi Betances didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laureles. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Maximo Villalon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tohias Bazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fernando Gamez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tohias Bazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Gamez having to interfere. Tohias Bazan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Gamez having to make a save. In the 79th minute Maximo Villalon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turi Betances saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turi Betances came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Laureles's Maximo Villalon. But to his dismay, Maximo Villalon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 86th minute, Ihazintu Aranguren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Laureles getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ermengol Peruyera hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Guerrero's Ramirez Villafranca tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fernando Gamez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tohias Bazan in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
