Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Enaut Caniego started the match with the kick off. If Enaut Caniego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bizen Pacios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aznar Valdenebro having to interfere. If Claus Benero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Aznar Valdenebro managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Soriano AFC's Bizen Pacios fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 12th minute, Soriano's Lazcano Canto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lazcano Canto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Soriano protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lazcano Canto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Soriano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Aznar Valdenebro, was totally fooled by Soriano AFC's Ignatius Orantes, who 14 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakes Usabiaga during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aznar Valdenebro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enaut Caniego, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Zuberoa Gonzales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Bizen Pacios notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Soriano's Aznar Valdenebro. Aznar Valdenebro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baumer Cañarte struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Aznar Valdenebro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soriano AFC. After having played for 47 minutes, Enaut Caniego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soriano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enaut Caniego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
Aznar Valdenebro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodney Peinado, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Soriano AFC's Baumer Cañarte in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soriano's goalie prevented a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Montez Campa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fortunato Anievas. Soriano AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Montez Campa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Montez Campa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Fortunato Anievas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bizen Pacios came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Soriano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bizen Pacios couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jakes Usabiaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soriano's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakes Usabiaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortunato Anievas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bizen Pacios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Aznar Valdenebro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aznar Valdenebro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bizen Pacios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jakes Usabiaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fortunato Anievas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Soriano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Soriano AFC.
