In the 20th minute Rexino Celis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vigil Falla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rexino Celis struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Vigil Falla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pavon. When Cristofor Monedero fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pavon's protests and gave Cristofor Monedero a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Pavon got a freekick which was hit by Cristofor Monedero. 27 minutes into the match, Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Rexino Celis came free, but Vigil Falla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niolaao Ceceil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amador Iturrate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vigil Falla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rexino Celis in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rexino Celis in the 40th minute of play forced Libertad's goalkeeper Vigil Falla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rexino Celis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristofor Monedero kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Formerio Boladeras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ubarna Frias made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rexino Celis was the one to do the kick off. Formerio Boladeras scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ubarna Frias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Libertad's Vigil Falla got control of the ball when Amador Iturrate tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amador Iturrate could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Vigil Falla made a huge save. After 61 played minutes Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Gartzea Hubieta. After having played for 66 minutes, Niolaao Ceceil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Libertad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niolaao Ceceil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Pavon's Rexino Celis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vigil Falla narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
