Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Edgard Matamoro made the kick off and thus started the match. A hard shot 6 in the game by Santxo Lomeli from a close distance when the talented Hilario Barona managed to make a qualified save. Mendoza FC's players were relieved. Carmelo's Koldo Seca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Matamoro in the 8th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Mendoza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Pellon to maneuver through the defense. Santxo Lomeli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hilario Barona having to make a save. When Santxo Lomeli came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Carmelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santxo Lomeli couldn't finish the play. Mendoza FC's Hilario Barona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berdoi Hernan in the 28th minute of play. Berdoi Hernan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Barona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Tulio Falip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Koldo Seca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tulio Falip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koldo Seca having to interfere. Ostargi Anderica hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Santxo Lomeli in the 60th minute of play forced Mendoza FC's goalkeeper Hilario Barona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Santxo Lomeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Barona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berdoi Hernan in the 63rd minute of play. Berdoi Hernan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Mendoza FC defense, Santxo Lomeli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilario Barona. The Mendoza FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilario Barona should have stopped the shot. Hilario Barona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xove Vianes in the 85th minute of play. Santxo Lomeli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hilario Barona having to make a save. 89 minutes into the match, Carmelo's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Matamoro came free, but Koldo Seca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo's Berdoi Hernan got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
