Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Carmelo's Koldo Seca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Carmelo from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Carmelo's zone, Patxi Valmayor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koldo Seca came out of the goal and Patxi Valmayor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferrer Cardeiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Berdoi Hernan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Zorion Poo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patxi Valmayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patxi Valmayor got free with Koldo Seca in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferman Chasco's late challenge caught a Miguelete's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferman Chasco helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Carmelo got a freekick which was hit by Ferman Chasco. 30 minutes into the match, Miguelete's goal looked a bit too open when Santxo Lomeli came free, but Zorion Poo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Berdoi Hernan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zorion Poo was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Koldo Seca made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Patxi Valmayor sent off a good shot on target. When Fonda Grajal fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carmelo's protests and gave Fonda Grajal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Fonda Grajal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xove Vianes's late challenge caught a Miguelete's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xove Vianes helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 46 minutes, Ferrer Cardeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miguelete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferrer Cardeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferrer Cardeiro to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferrer Cardeiro in the 56th minute of play forced Carmelo's goalkeeper Koldo Seca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patxi Valmayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ferrer Cardeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Koldo Seca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferrer Cardeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the match, Carmelo's Santxo Lomeli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zorion Poo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Koldo Seca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patxi Valmayor in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferrer Cardeiro in the 72nd minute of play forced Carmelo's goalkeeper Koldo Seca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Carmelo's Fonda Grajal got a free kick in the 75th minute. Koldo Seca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patxi Valmayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Santxo Lomeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zorion Poo having to interfere. Santxo Lomeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
